Mystery Spoken Word Poet and Musician Radheya, popularly known to social media as the Lion With A Mic, released the second music video to his buzzworthy series “The Song Remains The Same.” In response to today’s alarming concerns surrounding law enforcement beatings, shootings, and improper use of force, “The Song Remains The Same Part 2” is a reminder and awaking of today’s underlining reality.

The mystery artist behind the mask is a model minority best known for sharing thought-provoking content and fiery poetic pieces such as “The Song Remains The Same Part 1”, “Check Your Brain,” “Modern Slavery,” “Black Lives Matter?” and “Corona.” On the mission to raise consciousness around uncomfortable topics mainstream media refuses to cover, Radheya uses his artistic abilities to shed light on some of the social impurities affecting minority and disadvantaged communities across the world.

“Oppression survives because we follow along," states Radheya. "We accept status quo. Change starts within. We must learn to see the world differently."

Radheya is a second-generation South Asian poet and musician. Raised as a model minority, Radheya attended top schools, climbed the corporate ladder, and achieved every conventional measure of success. Yet this “perfect life” suffocated his soul.
