In today's guitar lesson we learn how to navigate through scale positions. We take a brief look at how the guitar compares with the piano in order to better understand the fact that there is only one major scale on the guitar. This one major scale can be re-fretted throughout 5 scale positions/shape. We cover each shape before then going through a fun and important exercise of playing a simple riff in 5 positions. I cover a few examples of other scales as well.
