http://www.vladtv.com - Rapper Nef the Pharaoh sat down on the VladTV couch to talk about his hit single "Big Tymin,' honoring Cash Money's Birdman and Mannie Fresh. The Vallejo, California rapper tells us that he wasn't only inspired musically, "[Big Tymers] influenced me as a person. Like how I carry myself when I walk into a room, how I greet people and approach people. They [have] always influenced me."
The 20-year-old says that his favorite record from the duo was "Big" and plans to bring back the fun in music in his upcoming album -that will not have any features.
"That's something I am going to resurface." He tells us, It's not just something I want to. I'm bringing back the fun even though, everybody know people out here shooting' with guns and 30 this and 30 that." He insisted, "I'ma bring back the fun [and] the dancing.
As a father, he says he's cautious on how he wants his own son to view him as he continues his rap career, and doesn't want to be portrayed as a violent rapper to him, "I got a little son. He looks up to me and children are sponges." He continued, "I don't want him to see his dad carrying AK's everyday. I want him to see his dad having fun, doing something he actually loves."
"Yea, I'ma bring back the fun in the music, thats what I'm aiming for and that's what I'm going to do," he says.
