Bio

Taurel Davenport was living a life filled with drugs, alcohol, fornication, rapping for his own self-gain, and believing his own fate was in his hands. In 2011 he had an incredible encounter with Jesus over a period of days that changed his entire life forever. He got saved and gave his life to Jesus and literally left everything behind and started over with a purpose to live everyday for Jesus. Now Taurel is the head of a ministry named Faith By Hearing Multimedia Ministries (FBHMM). FBHMM is media based ministry, geared toward bringing the word of God to the youth and young adults of today in a doctrinally sound and relevant way.

Story Behind "Freedom"

The song "Freedom" is based on when Taurel first became a Christian and began to realize that many of his friends and even himself, were acting out a life that didn't portray who they really were. That he was just a combination of life experiences and influences that molded him into who he was but after giving his life to Christ, Taurel realized that he was now a new creation and was now free to be who Christ has called him to be in the earth. He made this song to share that message with those that are dealing with a identity crisis in a world that is driven by fads and trends.
