Klinikum marks the long awaited and highly anticipated return of Nick Galemore to Kindisch as an independant artist since his debut and widely praised EP 'Vorbote' back in 2012. While he's released 2 EP's with his studio partner Gregor Treirweiler since then, Nick has decided it's time to get back to what he started in 2012. We couldn’t be happier to have him back.

The result of spending the past 3 years hiding out in his Berlin studio is a uniquely brilliant work full of beautiful aesthetic and moving drama-inducing cinematic qualities. Unique and at times unconsciously alien like, leaving open the doors for wonder and interpretation.

'By Night' opens the EP on a somewhat lighter tone, encompassing a kind of zeitgeist yet remaining elegantly and effortlessly timeless, musical and sonic elements that build against the backdrop of an eerie and echoing vocal to create a darker, dramatic experience Nick has become known for.

In 'All Goes Wrong', Galemore creates, delivers and distills a collective of melodies and sounds amongst lines of passion-laced, stealth like drums. The energy level is decidely higher now, with guitars building and soundscapes forming throughout. This is the late night club track everyone is waiting for, contrasting beautifully to 'By Night'.

'Idle Hands' is characterised by warm rolling drums, with juxtaposed melodies of both beauty and darkness and brought together by a collection of uniquely programmed cinematic-esq pads and atmospheres. All of this is supported by a beautifully crafted bassline duet in which each bassline compliments the other while dancing together; giving us a rich deep texture to support the elegant piano lines.

An alchemist, a technician, a master of controllers in his studio and a slave to the more dramatic side of electronic music, he effortlessly lures his listeners into an experimental music abyss.
