This video was filmed in an abandoned church that Pastor Ray and I have recently become the caretakers of. The first Scotts-Irish Settlers in Juniata County started worshipping on this hill sometime in the 1760s, according to our records. The church house was built in 1843. It's doors closed in the late 1960s and it's congregation joined the congregation at the McCoysville Presbyterian Church, which is now Ragamuffin Hall. When I got the keys this summer, no one had been inside since about 2012, to the best of my knowledge, and it inspired this song. Stay tuned. We plan to have a community clean up day this spring. We don't know what the future holds, but we are excited. Please share this with your friends to spread the word!
