Daylyt previously posted a blog addressing all of the pre-existing battle leagues and stressing the importance of uniting to be able to compete with the Shady Records powerhouse. When asked about his feelings on Daylyt's blog, Norbes stated that he isn't worried about what Total Slaughter has going on, and he is simply focused on the progression of his brand. He stated that there isn't any bad blood between Smack/URL and Total Slaughter, and he hopes that they will have a good event.
Debo spoke on the fact that the battlers serve as the actual product within Battle Rap, so battlers competing on Total Slaughter, Smack/URL, or QOTR only help to boost each of the brands that the battlers are featured on. They each have their sights set on being known as the number 1 battle league in the world, and are focused on expanding their own successes in the near future.
