In our new series "Note To Self," artists let you in on who they were when they were younger and give themselves advice from having grown up.

In episode one, New Years Day talk "ugly duckling" transformations, shyness, fear of failure, "devilish" behavior, being weirdos and more.

"If I could go back, I would tell my self just to chillax—chill out! Go for, and the only way you're going to fail is if you don't try. Give it a shot! Give it your all, and it's going to work out," says vocalist Ash Costello.
