And just like that it’s already December again. My impulsve take on “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” is streaming everywhere today????

I love this sad and beautiful song, smiling through its tears, in a warm glow of light reaching through the years and into the cracks of a breaking heart
There is a lot of pain in it, but conquering that pain is a strength and resilience centered in love and shared humanity

This song wants something for its listener that it seems to know it cannot have for itself, and there’s something in that to me that represents the best of our nature, something sacred about our hearts and how they synchronize that’s worth remembering as one year ends and another begins. Wherever you’re at, I hope y’all have a warm and safe holiday season ????✨
