Overtaken

Overtaken is The Al Gore Rhythms' ode to early 2000's emo, while honoring our progressive approach to songwriting. It's about the inevitability of losing people in your life, and how it teaches you to appreciate the people in your life who are still here.

This song is dedicated to my dear friend Joey Kelly, who left this earth on 2/12/22, that I knew he would've loved, but he unfortunately never got to hear. I hope this song puts a smile on your face, and don't forget to tell your friends you love them - you never know when it will be your last chance.
