Panic Attack by @halsey (2024). A great new track from a legendary artist. The studio version of this track features the bass very prominently, so this makes for a great study case. The chords are simple, so the bassist focuses on great tone, a deep pocket, and more melodic motifs. The recurring use of 9ths on the verses can double as some helpful ear-training.

From a technique side, this is a chance to really dig into the nuances of your feel and execution with the plucking hand, the clean execution of your fretting hand, and detailed articulations like slides and hammer-offs.
