In this lesson you will learn a Great Pentatonic Bass Riff and learn how to Use The Pentatonic Scale to play great sounding bass lines and fills.

The Pentatonic Scale is arguably the best and most important scale you can play on bass and for good reason; it's used in almost every style of music; Rock, Pop, Blues, Funk, Soul, R&B, Jazz, Latin, Reggae, Country, etc.

You will learn to play the Major Pentatonic Scale in 4 different positions and play this great pentatonic bass riff in each position.

You will also learn how to easily extend the range of each scale pattern wherever you play it, so that you've got the maximum number of notes available to you without having to move around the bass.

You will learn to use the pentatonic scale develop the riff and create some great answering lines that will make your bass playing sound awesome.

There's also a bunch of playing articulation too such as, slides, hammer-ons and pull-offs, so this lesson will also help you Improve Your Technique on Bass.
