Recently, Pop Evil have been dominating their nation-wide tour, receiving radio airtime and their single “Footsteps” has even been featured in car commercials. APTV caught up with the band at Monster’s Rock Allegiance, where they spoke about how their Michigan up bringing connected them to the automotive industry.

“I still have only seen it maybe one or twice,” says vocalist Leigh Kakaty. “It’s something to be proud of for our fans back at home, something to be proud of coming from the state of Michigan.” —Jake Hanson
