The violin in question is a 3/4 violin that the boy’s mom said he had grown out of and needed a new one. She said he didn’t have any particular attachment to it, but he was worried he would get in trouble because of what happened in class. His teacher assured him his parents knew and that he could keep the brand new, much better full-size violin. I got photos with him and signed his old violin afterward, and his parents approved him appearing in this video as well. I recently checked with Caleb’s teacher and he’s doing great! ????
