Do you remember your first pair of Puma Suedes? From ballers, to B-Boys, to Olympic champions, the classic kick has been at the top of everyone’s must-have list for 47 years strong. Born in Herzogenaurach, a sleepy town in Bavaria, Germany, Puma Suedes were first created as simple, rubber-soled, suede-topped shoes. Suede, as it turns out, comes from the French term, “gants de suede,” or “Swedish gloves,” and refers to the soft underside of lambskin.
