We know little from Sukumar filmmaker, but we can see the director has a gritty form and dynamic visual style which aims to capture a tale based on a highly valuable resource and its effects on the people connected to it.

We look to you, our Indian viewers, especially those in the Southern Region, to educate us on how this tale of power and struggle to dominate the prized red sandalwood, this “Gold that grows on the land,” will show case this fascinating development of a man named Pushpa.
