This is based on a solo the great trumpeter Rafael Mendez played in the middle of a vocal arrangement. The song was based on Carnival of Venice, except it was set in 4/4 time. Mendez makes this sound so easy, but I did the best I could to get through it (at 20 beats per minute slower)!
