Real believes that while the presence of celebrities in battles boosts the notoriety of the sport, it also has the potential to be the downfall of Battle Rap. He thinks that because the hype behind seeing celebrities battle is so high, fans are too quick to react to the most basic bars from them, which will dumb down the quality of lyricism expected from the sport.
