Oyamo Richard a.k.a Richie the Poet is a writer, poet and spokenword artist who besides the Rafinki's anthology 'When We Speak' has also participated in the Millenial Voice: East African Poetry. Richie Poet is one of the co-founders of Rafinki and has also studied English and Literature at Kenyatta University.

Rafinki, on the other hand, is a space that is trying to amplify the voices of up and coming poets and writers by giving them a stage or a page to share their art forms. Such an avenue is Rafinki Open Mic which happens every last sunday of the month at Laikiana Resort, Dagoretti Corner from 4 to 7pm!
