Here is the third episode of "Sofa Sessions", a series of casual live performances recorded with my phone. I play here a small part of an original unfinished composition for which I have yet to find a title. This is thus work in progress. My instrument is a 13-course baroque lute made in 2017 by Renzo Salvador (Belgium) after Johann Christian Hoffman (ca 1735). Until a year ago, I used to play this lute with nails and single strings. This is my first recording with double strings ("courses") and without nails, i.e. as this lute is intended to be played.
