I like TOTO's music for long time. I checked their musics to select the music for drum lesson. Then I knew that sixteen beat shuffle as half time shuffle was used in Rosanna. I listened to Rosanna many times and tried to express the beats used in Rosanna with drum. I used tripod first time to shoot from high position than before in this recording. I wore sunglasses and tank top to get closer to Jeff Porcaro whom I respect. I got lesson from my drums teacher in a music class and individually practiced for about 50 hours from 2022-Jul to Sep.

以前からTOTOの楽曲が好きでした。ドラム課題曲の選定のためにリズムを確認したところ、Rosannaでハーフタイム・シャッフルという16ビートシャッフルが使われていることを知りました。今回、楽曲を何度も聞き、Rosannaの持つビートがドラムで表現できるよう取り組みました。レコーディングでは、初めて三脚を使い、これまでより高い位置から撮影しました。少しでも尊敬するジェフ・ポーカロに近づけないかとサングラスとタンクトップを着用しました。音楽教室でドラムの先生に教えてもらい、個人でも2022年７月から９月まで約50時間練習しました。
