Following the release of a 7" lathe cut single, which sold out in a mere 35 mins after it was published on Fuzzed Up & Astromoon records bandcamp, Sacred Buzz's full EP Radio Radiation is set to release on November 1st 2024 via the same label in Dublin. Written and recorded in the second half of 2023 at the band's studio, the six-track EP embodies fuzzy psych'n'roll drenched in reverberating drone while maintaining danceable grooves that feel influenced by their love of 60s garage obscurities, kraut goodness, and raw energy of proto-punk.

With the distorted vocals of frontman, Ivan Skvortsov, Radio Radiation aims to serve as a warning about the fragility of the world's balance and a reminder to find beautiful things even in ugly times. Most of the songs were written over the summer of 2023 in the outskirts of Berlin on Monoton studio where the band rehearsed for a few months, having chill times, bbq, talks about events in the world, and long psychedelic jams.

The band recorded their EP over a couple of days at their rehearsal studio at Frank Zappa street in Berlin. All the instruments were recorded live to maintain the energy and the vocals were overdubbed later. Ivan recalls: "Everything was recorded live in our studio last December completely DIY by ourselves. We've just placed mics, checked the levels, and hit rec button. The place had some kind of punk vibe there. The building always smelled of weed and was filled with musicians at all times. Some might even live there non-stop. Every time we had to go to the topmost floor and we were getting even higher to get where elevators couldn't take us. We hope you'll have as much fun vibing with the songs as we had jamming and recording them."
