This fixed bridge super-super-strat design from Schecter Guitar Research is a great affordable intermediate instrument.

With its affordable price tag, this guitar is a great upgrade from your first beginner instrument. It features two aggressive modern rock or metal style humbucker pickups with a 3 way switch plus a push/pull pot to get at those great out of phase strat like tones.

Cosmetically a striking instrument, this guitar is a fantastic workhorse for a gigging musician who needs an instrument that is reliable but doesn't want to always bring an expensive instrument that might get damaged on the road.

I've been very impressed with the overall fit and finish of all Schecter instruments, I find the brand is a step above some other makers with their budget minded guitars.
