In 2003 The White Stripes delivered a bona fide stadium anthem. Meg White’s drumming aside, just about any human being’s foot is tapping just at the mention of this song! The descending 'bass' line was actually recorded and performed on a Kay hollowbody electric guitar through a Whammy pedal set to the octave-down setting.
