Silk Sonic just won 4 Grammy awards with their debut single Leave The Door Open.
Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars' new project reminds a lot of the Soul, R'n'B and Disco music of the 60's and 70's and the vibe of their tunes takes you straight back to that time.
Anderson .Paak's drum sound also reminds a lot of this time and when we did our Recreating Iconic Drum Sounds episode (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bWu1cY8P5M) about this project we also had to bring in some vintage gear.
