Piyush Panwar, born in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, began his musical journey at just 4 years old under the guidance of his grandmother, Sh Damyanti Panwar, a talented musician. He later received formal training in Indian Classical and Light Music from Dr. Roshan Bharti Ji, a renowned Ghazal singer of the Senia Gharana. Piyush has achieved notable success in various singing competitions, including being the 2nd Runner-Up on Indian Idol Season 14 and a Top 24 contestant on Zee TV's SaReGaMaPa 2016, Sony TV's Indian Idol Seasons 9 & 12, and Colors TV's Rising Star Season 1. He has also won several state-level competitions such as Radio City 91.1 FM’s Super Singer Season 10, Golden Voice, Marwar ki Awaaz 4, Jodhpur Idol, and Voice of Thar.
