Sleep Paralysis is a demon that has attacked me several times in the past, and it is THE most terrifying experience that you could ever imagine.

It’s 3AM, I’m awake, my head is spinning again
There’s a war in my mind, man, let’s go to battle then
This sleep paralysis got me numb and it’s hard to feel
These demons keep trying to creep in, man what’s the deal?

I can’t sleep and it feels like I’m trapped in a cell
And no, stopping asking, I don’t feel well
Even if I did it would be hard to tell
It feels like a magic wand got waved and I’m under some spell

I’m chained down by the pain of this hour
The devil smells blood and he’s trying to devour
No, go away, yes that way, not today
Let me take a minute, I think I need to pray

Sleep paralysis lives in the deepest corner of my room
He waits until I try to sleep to consume and put me in a tomb
I tried to let out a scream, but nothing came out
Not a whisper or even a shout, he’s taking my breath away, no doubt

Break me free from the clutch of this demon, I need the man
I think he got scared and now he ran
Maybe it’s over for now, and hopefully for good
Sleep paralysis, I hate you, is that understood?

I’m still in a panic
My head is still spinning, I feel like a manic
I’m tired and exhausted
I’m looking for my sleep, I think I lost it

Sinking underwater and I’m not a good swimmer
The lights on the surface are getting dimmer
I opened my eyes, it was only a dream
Sleep paralysis, you got me again, this was really extreme
