In this lesson, we break down reading guitar tab (or tablature) to the most basic parts, and we also learn the intro to the holy trinity of rock: "Smoke On The Water" by Deep Purple. Once you get the hang of it, it is quite easy, with a bit of practice you will be playing it flawlessly.

Performance notes:
- Play slowly at first.
- Get the D and G open strings ringing smoothly at the same time, you do not want them to ring seperately or to hit other strings.
- Use the fingering provided in the lesson.

Daily Practice Plan:
- 5 minutes: If you are following the absolute beginner series, review all chords we have covered.
- 5 minutes: Review the songs "Last Kiss" and "Knockin' On Heaven's Door"
- 5 minutes: Practice "Happy Birthday" and Smoke On The Water, they will help starting the co-ordination in your fingers. Have fun!
