Star Spangled Banner - The U.S. National Anthem

This song was played on a Lee Oscar diatonic harmonica in the key of Bb.

Talk about a patriotic song. “The Star-Spangled Banner” is the United States national anthem. The lyrics were written on September, 14th, 1814 as Francis Scott Key witnessed the bombardment of Fort McHenry by British ships of the Royal Navy in Baltimore Harbor during the Battle of Baltimore in the War of 1812. The lyrics were set to a popular British song written by John Stafford Smith. It is a dream and goal of mine to play “The Star Spangled Banner” on the harmonica at a large sports venue.
