Stefano - PRAYER

Stefano is a singer,  songwriter and piano virtuoso.
Born in Soveria Mannelli, Italy, has been classically trained since the age of seven at the Conservatory Santa Cecilia in Rome.
Throughout his formative years he has appeared and performed on a multitude of popular Italian TV shows. His burgeoning celebrity prompted the release of his first studio album in 2010 in which he collaborated with two well-known Italian songwriters. Those successes lead to his participation in the Sanremo Social Music Festival, the most notable music festival for songwriters in Italy.
Most inspiringly, Stefano has developed a relationship with famed director Franco Zeffirelli and through his mentor-ship, he has further developed his abilities as a performer and in the conception of new and interesting writing techniques. Zeffirelli has helped expand his creative process and helped hone his craft. This has been instrumental as Stefano started composing motion picture soundtracks at Columbia University under the guidance of Jamal Joseph.
In 2017 Stefano is the writer, with Italian singer Giorgia Todrani, on the song, "Con te” (With You), sang by Sergio Sylvestre (aka Big Boy) at the Sanremo Festival of Music in Italy.
In 2019 he started working on his first American solo production with producer Chico Bennett.


PRAYER is the first single to be released in the USA and worldwide by Stefano.
Written by Stefano Maiuolo (Stefano) and John Smallwood, Prayer was born as a reflection about the historical times we are living: a Prayer that doesn't require a religion, a wish for everybody to pretend the best from our abilities as good human being to create a much better sense of unity, a way to give each other the opportunity of building better times ahead!

This video was recorded in Stefano's Music Room, the place where his inspiration creates the melodies that carry the most intimate experiences of his soul.
Like a prayer, this song wants to be simple: a minimal production for a bigger message...
