This is a Collaboration between Shane Beck and myself Jamie Zarfas. Shane Beck AKA (The Last American Poet) provided the theme, his deep words and this enabled me to tune in and record some instruments and arrange this track. Instruments I used, Fender Fretless Jazz Bass, Fender Strat Guitar, Rhodes, Percussion & Drums, Korg Modwave, Prophet 12. Various guitar pedals.. This is our 1st collaboration together and we hope you enjoy this as much as we do. Its Dark, Psychedelic, Jazzy. Thanks for listening (:

Poetry by Shane as follows...

Stepping Through the bleak darkness only to be enveloped by the transitioning of life's choice
Bound by the honour of words once said & I heard the urgency in your voice
Upon the shelf was the volume of poetry & that box containing the boys heart
Stepping Through the gateway of profound secrets & the emotions of truth you felt from the start

If I repeat verses in a harsh whisper & allow the darkness to envelope the sweetest sound
Stepping Through the pathway of obscene images only to resurface upon unholy ground
And some options take time to clear the memories of the soul & the path still clear ahead
Stepping Through the brightest light of conviction by those words that you alone said
