This budget minded seven string John Petrucci signature series electric guitar represents good value for money.

If you're looking to get into an extended range guitar, this is a great affordable guitar to get your feet wet. Featuring a mahogany body with a 24 fret bolt on maple neck the tone is huge, and it really sings on leads. It also has a push-push volume pot with a 12db boost to make sure you've got the grunt and horsepower for that shreddy lick you're about to play.

Featuring locking tuners to help keep the floating bridge in tune, this guitar would serve as a great backup on the road.
