Surrender (Poetry - Spoken Word)

On Life's shores, I venture forth,
Along the river, a dance of worth.
I chew and spit my tobacco's art,
Upon soft grass, my soul apart.

No expectations, I feel the light,
The earth breathes with me, a wondrous sight.
Weightless and free, in harmony's trance,
Embracing the universe, every hue and chance.

As Death lurks close, in shadows' thrall,
I chase the moments, I heed the call,
Contemplating the void, the celestial span,
Solitary in my cage, bound to the eternal plan.

A vast abyss, an unspeakable bliss,
For this day, this moment, forever amiss.
This Earth, a source of happiness untold,
Where lives intertwine, sweet and bold.

In the tapestry of stories, our destinies blend,
Transient voyagers, eternity's friend.
Time's thread weaves our souls in grace,
In Life's rhythm, a ballet's embrace.

Under azure skies, stars keep the vigil,
Carrying dreams and hopes, our spirits agile.
The river of Life, a silvery stream,
Guides us towards tomorrow, a boundless dream.

Each moment, a breath, a gentle breeze,
Whispers of time, fleeting as these.
The present enfolds us in tender embrace,
In the dance of hours, a sacred solace.

I gaze at the horizon, stars in my eyes,
Leaving behind sorrows, veils of disguise.
The void turns to fullness, boundless glee,
In the embrace of time, love sets us free.

On the canvas of Life's woven theme,
Along the stretching river, a peaceful dream,
I surrender to this symphony divine,
In communion with the universe's breath, a celestial sign.
