Susanna has announced Elevation, a follow-up to 2020's Baudelaire & Piano, with poetry by Charles Baudelaire from his once forbidden The Flowers of Evil. In Elevation, Susanna’s engagement with Baudelaire’s work blossoms into a collaborative enterprise, combining tape, spoken word and song. The result is a unique musical conversation spanning centuries and disciplines; a “time travelling” project, as Susanna puts it, that moves between creative dimensions.

Rose-Pale Dawn is a tape piece only, composed by Stina Stjern. Gorgeous atmospheric layers of synths and hisses which draws the listener in to a mysterious landscape, much like the poetry of Baudelaire.

Video is made by the talented Jenny Berger Myhre and catches the mood of the song entirely.
