A Girl Named Genny first burst onto Rochester's music scene with high-energy Americana shows, steeped in the sounds the Avett Brothers and John Prine. But frontman Ray Mahar over the years has moulded the songs and the band to one of the best and musically deep in our area. That depth was on full display in this set.
