This video teaches you how to create tension (and resolve it) in your guitar solos using half steps. You get 5 super cool guitar licks based on the tension and release of half steps. These sound awesome and are not hard to play!

First, I’ll show you why ½ steps are the best interval to use to create (and release) massive amounts of tension in any style of guitar playing.

Second, I’ll give you the first of 5 guitar licks that are based on these ½ step tension phrases.

Third, you’ll learn how to use these same tense half steps over different chords and flip (reverse) the tension and release of each note (this is REALLY cool and always sounds cool. It immediately adds lots of extra emotion to your guitar playing)!

Fourth, you learn how easy it is to apply these same cool licks to other scales (such as Lydian)

Fifth, I’ll give you the remaining tension and resolution licks (all tab included of course).
