When it comes to reggae drumming, there are three basic grooves every drummer should know: the one drop, the rockers and the steppers.
In this lesson Chris Hoffmann demonstrates all three and talks about his personal favorite variations of those grooves.
If you want to know how to achieve a classic reggae sound, make sure to also check out our Recreating Iconic Drum Sounds episode about Bob Marley's drummer Carlton Barrett.
