Stephen speaks before the council and confronts them with hard lessens from the past. Lessons they don't want to hear and after stopping their ears, they stop Stephen. He is sentenced to death and stoned. This makes him known as the first martyr of the church. But it would set off a great persecution and the church began to spread.
