In this video I teach you the bass line from The Great Flood by Joe Bonamassa. I show you how the bass line develops from the studio version to the live versions. These are the three version of The Great Flood that we will be looking at:
1. The Great Flood album version
2. The Great Flood live at The Albert Hall
3. The Great Flood live at The Shepherds Bush Empire
I also discuss the slow minor Blues and talk about the chord progression from The Great Flood and how it shares common chords with many other minor Blues tunes.
The live versions of The Great Flood feature Carmine Rojas on bass.
This bass video tutorial is suitable for absolute beginner bass players through to intermediate bassists.
