One of the most intimidating and frustrating aspects of violin technique is controlling the bow at the frog. Many students avoid playing in this part of the bow like the plague, yet your technique will not reach its true potential without it. The thing is, it doesn't have to be that difficult! In this video I'll demonstrate a little known arm motion that makes playing at the frog that much easier.
