ZZ Top have been rocking huge stages all around the world for more than 50 years. In all that time since the 1970's, their drummer has been Frank Beard. Besides his extravagant and very stylish kits, what really defines him as a drummer is his distinct sound and his groove. Since ZZ Top is a trio, his grooves have a huge share in the music and play a big role in their arrangements. It's about time we honor their work by taking a closer look at Frank Beard's outstanding drum sound.
