Here's the next episode of Brewster's Millions Of Rants with The Students Of Joe Satriani. I've featured Joe Satriani in several lessons on the channel, but this episode is different and a unique look at his educational side as a "guitar instructor to the stars" - as he's notoriously taught a plethora of famous/notable guitarists, and this is the basic premise behind this episode.

The guitarists that have worked with Joe Satriani as students range from bonified guitar gods such as Steve Vai, Alex Skolnick, and Kirk Hammett, to a number of lesser-known but seriously talented musicians such as Charlie Hunter, Larry LaLonde, Geoff Tyson, and many other cutting-edge players that have worked/studied with Satriani.

Aside from hitting some information/licks from a few of Joe's former students, we're also hitting some of Joe's lesson material in this lesson, which was pulled from his classic 'Guitar Secrets' book - an interesting title with 41 of his lessons that originally appeared in Guitar For The Practicing Musician magazine back in the day. The ideas shared here range from chromatic-based warm-ups and exercises to more elaborate scale sequences, position-shifting ideas, and more!
