Explanation (English):

Verses 51–53 of Surah Ya-Sin describe the terrifying moment of resurrection and the Day of Judgment:

(36:51) “And the Horn will be blown, and at once from the graves to their Lord they will hasten.”
This refers to the second blowing of the Trumpet (al-Ṣūr), signaling the resurrection. According to Sahih Muslim, the trumpet will be blown by Israfil, and all who are in the graves will rise up quickly to face judgment.

(36:52) They will say, “Woe to us! Who has raised us from our sleeping place?”
This is the speech of the disbelievers and heedless, who thought the grave was eternal rest. They will be shocked to find themselves awake, resurrected, and in terror. Some Tafsir scholars mention that the angels or the righteous will reply: “This is what the Most Merciful had promised, and the messengers told the truth!”

(36:53) It will be but one blast, and at once they will all be brought before Us.
This emphasizes how easy it is for Allah to resurrect the entire creation. A single command, a single sound—no delay, no struggle. As Allah says elsewhere: “It is only one shout, and behold, they will be on the surface (of the earth) alive.” (Qur’an 79:13–14)

الآيات 51–53 من سورة يس تصف لحظة القيامة ويوم الحساب:

(يس:51) “وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُم مِّنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَنسِلُونَ”
يشير هذا إلى النفخة الثانية في الصور، التي تُعلن البعث. ووفقًا لـصحيح مسلم، النافخ في الصور هو إسرافيل، وعندها يقوم جميع الموتى من قبورهم مسرعين إلى ربهم للحساب.

(يس:52) قَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا مَنۢ بَعَثَنَا مِن مَّرْقَدِنَا ۜ
هذا قول الكفار والغافلين الذين ظنوا أن القبر راحة أبدية. سيفاجؤون بالبعث ويعيشون الرعب. وتفسير بعض العلماء أن الملائكة أو المؤمنين يردون: “هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وَصَدَقَ الْمُرْسَلُونَ.”

(يس:53) إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ جَمِيعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ
تؤكد هذه الآية أن البعث أمر يسير على الله. مجرد صيحة واحدة، وأمام الله يقف الجميع. كما قال في موضع آخر: “فإنما هي زجرة واحدة فإذا هم بالساهرة.” (النازعات:13-14)
