This jazz piano lick comes from a famous tune by the great John Coltrane. It will help you master what is called a Coltrane Cycle. Do you know the tune? It's called Giant Steps! Can you get it under your fingers? This is a must-try for adding to your jazz vocabulary. Learning this in all keys will give you a huge advantage for being able to improvise over Giant Steps.
