Playing fast and tight downstrokes is the key to great metal riffs. You and I both know that James Hetfield is known for that in the classic Metallica riffs.

This lesson has you combining fast single-note riffs, palm muting, and power chords all played with downstrokes at 188 BPM (beats per minute).
