This video was filmed in Carbondale, Illinois as part of the Tiny Desk Crashers video sessions. The sessions consisted of over 75 musicians from Southern Illinois. The goal of these sessions was to not only support one another in our local music community with the hopes that one of us will win the NPR music Tiny Desk Contest 2024 but also to bring national attention to the vast amount of eclectic musical talent in our region. The Southern Illinois music scene has always been and remains to be an extremely supportive, diverse and thriving music scene. Those who have visited the area will agree that Southern Illinois has produced so much amazing music and musicians over the decades. The world deserves to hear it.
