Tonality, Learn Music Theory and More - Tutorial: Exploring the App Part 3, Scales
https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/tonality-piano-guitar-chords/id1467552236
In this episode of learning Tonality we are exploring scales, their composition, their relatives and much more.
As always in Tonality you can search for scales, you can create a custom one, you can represent them on a piano keyboard on inside a guitar fretboard.
Once you have found the scale you are looking for, you can check how it should be played using piano fingers, or you can check what chords can be created using that scale or even look for modes using even parallel or relative sections.
Scales are important in music theory and also in music composition; for example you could decide on a scale and then use only notes from that scale to create your melody or a chord progression. The other thing you can do is also change a melody using a different scales and check how the melody, the feeling changes.
