Toying With Licks. I found The Toy! Part 2 Of Combining Riffs. My friend Daniel Stockwell Junior saw my last video ("Combining Licks") where I told the story about an old toy harmonica I found. I haven't seen that toy in years and years and I've been looking too...My buddy Daniel actually found one on eBay, so I picked it up for this video! The toy plays harmonica licks at the push of a button and in the video from a couple weeks ago I discussed how what that toy can do is actually an effective metaphor for learning licks, altering them, combining them and exploring simple rhythmic ideas. So today we check out the ACTUAL Micro Jammer Harmonica Toy in action and take a lesson about combining licks in part 2 of a Free Friday series. I'm using a "C" Hohner Crossover by Tom Halchak of Blue Moon Harmonicas in the key of G major (2nd position/Cross Harp).
