'Transfiguration': a great change of form or appearance.

The composition is entirely constructed from two samples: of a cello and of a choir. All of the string and resonant sounds in the music derive from the sample of the cello, all of the voice sounds from the sample of the choir. The aim has been to construct a fairly complex composition from only the very basic sources.

The visuals are taken from 'Film With Three Dancers' (1971).

The concept of 'Transfiguration' seems an appropriate label for both the composition and the dance piece.
