'Trapped Under Riffs' - Old-Metallica Style Guitar Lesson

There's one part of Metallica's song Trapped Under Ice (from the Ride the Lightning album) that I always loved.

It's a fast alternate-picking riff with a hammer-on in the beginning. Those two metal guitar techniques combined sound powerful and you can use these methods to come up with some killer riffs of your own (which I encourage you to do, always!).
